About

Tania is a registered Mental Health Social worker with over 19 years of Clinical Mental Health experience. Tania has worked both in community and clinical settings and her strengths are connecting with people in a real and meaningful way.

Her passion for therapeutic support started with her previous career in Outdoor Education where she saw the need for kindness and good listening skills to help people reach their goals and live to their fullest potential.

Tania worked with local people in their home environment to recover after the Black Saturday fires in the Kinglake and Flowerdale areas, which gave her strong trauma  skills and she also has 10 years of working in home based Palliative care where she developed a deep understanding of the supports needed for grief and loss with individuals and families.

Tania works from a strengths-based model where she believes that everyone can be taught the necessary skills and strategies to live a healthier and more connected life. Tania is trained in narrative therapy, family therapy, somatic psychotherapies and EMDR.

Tania has a degree in Applied Science/Human Movement and Nutrition, A Cert IV in Outdoor Recreation, Cert IV in small business management, a Masters of Social Work and is an Accredited Mental Health Social Work.

Tania lives in the Yarra Valley and finds her balance in connecting with nature and dancing the nights away to become her most joyous self.
